Ralph Anderson’s own residence is one of many Contemporary Barn prototypes. As with all the other barn houses, the pitched roof allowed for lofted spaces in the children’s bedrooms. The house was furnished with a multitude of mid-century modern design icons such as the Eames lounge chair, Eero Saarinen’s Tulip series, and Marcel Breuer’s Wassily chairs.
