Simply landscaped central entry courtyard separates the open living area from the private bedroom wing. Similar in concept to Speculative Residence 1, the house has a less formal impression. Dark laminated wood beams create horizontal elements to frame cedar panels and painted vertical supports. The house engages the exterior with the extensions of the standard system to create outdoor enclosures.
